AN OUTSTANDING *NEAR MINT* ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS PROG MASTERPIECE
LABELS: NEAR MINT clean, unmarked labels - barely a spindle trace on Record One - Record Two looks completely unplayed
RECORDS: NEAR MINT all four vinyl surfaces shine like-new and both records play with nothing to fault
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT as crisp, clean and fresh as the day it was made - slight record impression only - nothing really

COMPLETE WITH THE TWO ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE DIE-CUT INNER SLEEVES WITH UK PATENT NUMBER AND "MADE IN ENGLAND" PRINTED IN GREY
The album's concept, a two-disc, four-piece work of symphonic length and scope (based on the Shastric scriptures, as found in a footnote within Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi), was their most ambitious to date developing stronger prog/jazz rhythms than before (explored later and in more depth on Relayer).
On release it received notably hostile reviews. Gordon Fletcher in Rolling Stone described it as "psychedelic noodling" and Chris Welch in Melody Maker described it as "Brilliant in patches, but often taking far too long to make its various points, and curiously lacking in warmth or personal expression".
Yes fans still remain divided over whether or not this is one of the group's stronger works. Some claim it's far too excessive and obscure, while others see it as one of the band's masterpieces
