YES Tales From Topographic Oceans LP UK 1st Press GREAT AUDIO [Ex/Vg+]

	£		25
	$		33

Description

An original 1st press of TFTO on UK Atlantic custom RogerDean labels from autumn 1973. Matrix A1/B2/C2/D3. Note that none of the labels exhibit the Atlantic logo. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover printed by Shorewood. We have both original generic white inners from the time. So, we're100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A beautiful copy and has only seen very lightest use. Anyone familiar with YES audio will know what a pain it is to find a truly clean player. Occasionally one pops up - now don't let it get away! A couple of very slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Really quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Literally plays clean as a whistle from start to finish. On any title this would be a fantastic level of preservation. Given that this is YES - I would argue it is all the more impressive. Clean into even the lowest key tinkering sections.
Cover (Vg+) Front and rear are tidy with just a touch of surface wear. The interior looks real nice with only light handling. Only minor edge wear in the odd spot. Lovely firm and unworn openings. The spine is pretty much fully intact with just some minor wear. Super rigidity and they've obviously used heavy-card stock for manufacture. Very nice indeed.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
