USA 1972, London XPS 608
US-Original der irren Comeback-LP der Sängerin, die Anfang der 50er Jahre mit ihrer 5-Oktaven-Stimme sozusagen das Exotica-Genre erfand. Produzent vom anderen Exotica-Hochkaräter Les Baxter, liefert Frau Sumac hier ihre Vokal-Akrobatik zu den Klängen einer 4-köpfigen Psychrock-Band ab.
Absolute Kultplatte!
Original US copy of the legendary comeback album by the singer with the five-octave voice, who had "invented" the Exotica sound in the early 50s. Produced by the other Exotica-flagship Les Baxter, on this LP Mrs Sumac delivers her vocal acrobatics to the sound of a four piece Psychrock-band.

Bewertungssystem Vinyl / Grading system for vinyl:
m-: So gut wie neu, keine Nebengeräusche / As good as new, without any background noise
ex : Nur minimale Gebrauchsspuren; höchstens mal ein kurzes Knistern, aber nichts Störendes. Platten in dieser Kategorie sollten eigentlich auch jeden Mint-Sammler zufriedenstellen. / Shows only very minor signs that it was played. There might only be very, very light crackle at times, but nothing serious. Even most mint-collectors should be satisfied with records in this category.
vg+: Zeitweise leichtes Knistern oder auch mal ein vereinzeltes Knacksen, aber absolut hörenswert / Light occasional crackle and perhaps an occasional minor “pop” might occur; still very good to listen to.
vg: Leichte Kratzer, leichte Nebengeräusche, aber noch nichts wirklich Ernstes. Näheres in der je weiligen Beschreibung. / There is (occasional) background noise, but no major flaws. Details are explained in each description.
vg-: Durchaus noch hörbar, aber die Nebengeräusche, könnten auch mal störend sein. Näheres in der jeweiligen Beschreibung. / Still enjoyable, but background noise can at times disturb the fun. Details are explained in each description.
