Description
Here is an extremely rare artifact: a set of four double-sided 12" Capitol acetates from 1950, containing the eight tracks that appear on the original release of the iconic album as a 78 rpm 10" set. The discs were made either for internal use, or for advance promotion prior to the release. All eight sides are in glossy VG+ or better condition (though some of the labels are a bit worn)—and have been well-stored for the past half-century in the collection of a former LA music industry professional.
