Artist: YUSEF LATEEF
Title: “Before Dawn”
Label: VERVE. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl. Label is black with silver text, has “trumpet player” logo with deep groove. Catalog number is MG V-8217.
Year: 1957.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care. Grades nice VG+ to VG++ with a couple light hairline scuffs on each side that do not affect the listening experience other than to produce a few very soft ticks. No pops, clicks, serious marks, or other issues. Fidelity is excellent. Labels are clean. In short, a very enjoyable listening experience.
JACKET: Jacket is overall quite presentable with nice clean artwork. Front panel (not laminated) displays minor surface wear, otherwise clean. Top seam has a neatly repaired split – other seams and corners are fine. Reverse has darkened slightly with age, and there is very light staining along the edges. No writing, stickers, or cutout indications.
