From 1968, comes Yusef Lateef with his LP The Blue Yusef Lateef on Atlantic 1508 MONO DJ white label promo. Extremely rare MONO, which was DJ white label promo ONLY. Only several hundrede were pressed for AM radio stations, while the stereo DJ wlps were pressed for the FM radio stations. Eight song original record. Yusef Lateef is backed by Sonny Red, Blue Mitchell, Buddy Lucas, Kenny Burrell, Hugh Lawson, Cecil McBee,Bob Cranshaw and Ray Brooks.The Sweet Inspirations sing background on two of the songs.
