YA HO WA 13 LP (VG+)

1. Ya Ho Wa 13 (also: YaHoWa13) - self-titled album from 1974.  Album cover is worn, but not horrible (see pic).  The vinyl is in great condition as I remember.  I rarely listened to this album; I just wanted it in my collection because, come on, it's awesome.  This is some crazy-weird, historical, fascinating stuff.  The sound is maybe how you might imagine a trip-psych-rock '74 interpretation of a cult.  
   
   Do an internet search and you will find this:

• Ya Ho Wa 13 is the name of a psych/rock/cult band led by Father Yod (handsome dude on the cover, and leader of the Source Family cult)
• The band was made from members of the cult Source Family - perfect stereotypes of the Californian-cult scene you might have heard about
• These records are so rare, and quite collectible.  They have made re-issues over the past five years, but this LP is original.
• A new documentary film, The Source Family, opens across the country at May 1st, so I'm sure interest/value in this will grow greatly.
• Do an internet search of their website for lots of fun info.

*** LP CONDITION / 1st ISSUES / VALUES

• MY RECORDS - I understand about buying LPs on Ebay - I have bought very many myself.  The worst is receiving your LPs only to find them in terrible condition.  This will not happen with my LPs.  I have moved overseas and am forced to (tearfully) sell everything.  I have already sold about 3,000 LPs from my extra-surplus, but the 79 LP lot auctions I am listing now come from my personal listening collection stored in my dedicated record-room.  They have been well cared for and most vinyls have been put into high quality inner sleeves.  Some have been cleaned with a professional Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine.  Others could use a cleaning after many decades, but the vinyl condition itself is likely very solid.  Some of the LPs have low-adhesive sticky-notes on the back where I kept info.  These can all come off with no affect to the album jacket.
  
  
• CONDITION - Almost all the LPs are what most people determine as VG+ to EX to NM-.  If a couple are lower quality, I will try to give specific details from my memory, but I do not exactly remember every album (many I do), and I do not want to wrongly label these. I am listing details of the records based on my memory and the photos posted.  I always put a premium on vinyl quality over cover jacket quality, and while you might see a jacket that looks somewhat beat, the vinyl itself will likely be much better.  Again, these are from my own listening collection.  Some have been professionally cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaner. 
  
  
• GREAT VALUE - SERIAL #s - INSERTS - I've bought over 1000 LPs on Ebay, and I know that because I cannot list all the record serial numbers, collectible inserts, photos of the labels, and specific details about each's condition, the final selling price will be lower.  Most I am not labeling as 1st issues only because I don't want to make a mistake - although many or most are, in fact, 1st issues!  I'll include details I can see from the pics or from my memory.  This means you will get great value for these quality, collectible LPs!!!   If you see something that I've mislabeled, please email me and I will update the auction.
  
  So, if you are interested, you should buy with a little more flexibility than usual, but expect likely an even greater value.  For my records, you will be more than satisfied with almost every one.  Also, I have 100% Ebay rating, so I'm Ebay-trustable.  My goal while collecting was to buy 1st issue albums that had a nice listening quality.
