Yardbirds- Five Live Yardbirds. UK Mono 1964 First
Pressing 10 Track Vinyl LP ( 33SX 1677)
Matrix- XAX 2725 -1 N on both sides.
Play Graded:
Vinyl- This record is 55 years old and has been well played and 'well loved'. There are scratches and surface marks on both sides, and plays with some crackle and pop on occasions ( especially on the run in groove and intros) but remarkably no jumps or skips. Hard to grade in this condition but would have to plump for Good - (minus)
Sleeve- has edge/corner/spine wear and creasing with a little discolouration and writing on the reverse ( see pics) Again hard to grade but if pushed would again go for Good - ( minus)
A ' Collection Filler ' definitely but plays reasonably nicely all things considered.
This will come with a new poly lined inner sleeve as well as the original inner and a new pvc protective sleeve.
I use the Record Collector Grading System sometimes with a + or - to indicate that it's slightly better or slightly worse than than Ex or VG etc.
MINT; The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT; The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD; The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR; The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I will not sell any vinyl below this grade.
