~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this original Rare Mono British Lp by The Yardbirds entitled " Five Live Yardbirds " on Columbia Records SX 1677, original British pressing from 1966.
Incredibly RARE and original British Mono first Lp pressing release by the Yardbirds on the original blue and silver Columbia label.
Mechanically stamped matrix numbers in the dead wax are XAX 2725- 1N for side one and XAX 2725- 2N for side two.
A truly beautiful example of this original first pressing Lp in true near mint condition.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated clear foil cover retains all it's full brilliant vivid colors. Just a few hairline clear foil crinkles are detected at the outer edges of the front cover and a hint of ghostlike cover wear is detected under very bright lighting.
The rear triple flip back cover is totally exceptional other than the faintest sigh of aging - no cover wear is visibly detected.
All corners, seams and spines are in beautiful condition, fully intact, tight, crisp and square. The outer spine edge title is complete and virtually near perfect.
The vinyl virtually looks like new and both labels are super clean and pristine looking other than one almost invisible ghostlike spindle mark on Side-2.
Extremely difficult to upgrade this near mint copy unless it was sealed.
A true Holy Grail Yardbirds Lp not to be missed...good luck on your bids.
