Cover: Front-laminated, flipback cover, printed and and made by Garrod & Lofthouse. Although there are signs of the beginning of ringwear near the top of the front cover, and some light ringwear on the rear cover, there are no seam splits. The front cover has a few minor laminate creases, and there is a small degree of feathering at the opening edge. Other than a small bend at the top, the spine has hardly any traces of wear, with all text clear and easy to read. Despite the flaws, the cover is still in great shape for its age, and I would grade it as EX.

Inner Sleeve: EMI original white and sepia, advertising paper inner sleeve. The sleeve is still in crisp, beautiful condition with no evidence of feathering and all seams intact. The only flaws are a couple of light brown stains in the bottom corners of the sleeve (visible in the close-up), caused by the glue staining through with age. Aside from that, the previous owner, Kevin Dubrow (see 'Additional Info.' below) has stamped his name neatly with a rubber ink-stamp in the bottom two corners of the sleeve on both sides (a total of four stamps).

Labels: First-press blue and black Columbia labels with just a couple of small spindle trails on side 2, and a tiny spindle trail on side 1.

Vinyl: Just a couple of very fine wispy 'sleeve removal' hairlines, only visible when viewed under a light, and which do not affect the sound quality at all. Playback is near-mint with each track playing through with utmost clarity and distortion-free sound.

Additional Info: This record was originally purchased from the estate of the late Kevin Dubrow, who was the lead singer with the US rock band, Quiet Riot. Sadly, Kevin died in 2007 and his record collection was sold off. I was never a fan of Quiet Riot, but one thing I will say for Kevin Dubrow is that he had great taste in music and, although he did like to personalise his records with his name-stamp, he certainly looked after his records really well. May he rest in peace!

All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers in plastic, re-sealable protective sleeves.
