Auction Description: Yardbirds on Retro Rock Radio show. This LP was produced SOLELY for radio play, it has was never available commercially. The Yardbirds are one of the most important rock groups ever, they started the careers of 3 of the best guitarists (Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton). The record doesn't contain a cue sheet, it does however contain a letter form Clayton Webster Corporation sent to 101 WRIF radio station (a Detroit Rock Station) that in summary is thanking the station for their support of "Rarities" (another radio show) and is asking the station to review "Retro Rock" to see if the program is suitable for the WRIF station. Handwritten at the bottom of the letter it says that the recordings are from a Live show in March of 1968 at The Anderson Theater and that Jimmy Page is the Guitarist.

The only information I have about what this particular show contains is HANDWRITTEN on the back of the letter. Thus, it is very possible that the information there is either incorrect or has been misread by myself... Treat this track listing as a general idea of what this record contains, not as a an official statement!!!

Track List:

SIDE A: 1.) Train, 2.) Better Man Than I, 3.) Heart Of Stone, 4.) ? (I doubt this is the song name, I'm pretty sure the person that made the list didn't recognize this particular song), 5.) Drinking Muddy Water, 6.) I'm a Man, 7.) Dazed & Confused.

Side B: This side has substantially less detailed information written about it... From the best I can tell it contains a review of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.

The record is in VG condition, there is some scratching on both sides that doesn't affect play on our equipment.
