Description
Elgar's Concerto in B Minor (H Moll) Op 61 played by Yehudi Menuhin and the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Edward Elgar. HMV D.B. 1751 - 1756 on 78 rpm 12" records. All look to be in near mint condition with no signs of wear. Please see photos.
For some unknown reason, these records have been stored in a Columbia Masterworks folder which has this same Concerto printed on the outside but played by Albert Sammons (Violin) with the New Queen's Hall Orchestra conducted by Sir Henry Wood. The Columbia Works brochure for this piece was still in the folder.
We have had this for about 40 years and never played it or looked at it until we were clearing out the loft.
