Description

This is a very nice stereo pressing of “Close to the Edge” by Yes as issued on Mobile Fidelity (MFSL 1-077). The record is in very good condition with no scuffs but there is a single ½” light scratch at the beginning of side 2. The record mostly plays very quietly with only a few ticks here and there. The scratch on side two results in a light tick during the acoustic guitar introduction to “And You and I”. The gatefold cover is in very good condition with no ring wear or seam splits. The record is missing the extra inner cardboard wrapper that Mobile Fidelity provides with their LPs. The record was pressed in Japan. I have cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner and an Audio Desk ultrasonic record cleaner, treated it with LAST record preservative, and demagnetized it with a Furutech DeMag. The songs include: Close to the Edge; And You and I; and Siberian Khatru. Multiple LPs can be combined in a shipment to save shipping costs.
