Description
If you collect PROMOTIONAL RECORDS, GREAT CLASSIC ROCK & ROLL LPs or if you just like YES, here’s the auction you’ve been looking for!!!
In this auction:
· “FRAGILE” LP by YES
· This is ATLANTIC RECORDS SD 7211.
· It was released in 1972 and is a STEREO PRESSING.
· This is a USA pressing.
· This is a RARE WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING.
· It is a “PROMOTIONAL DJ COPY” per the sticker on the cover. The sticker, furthermore, lists 3 “SUGGESTED CUTS FOR AIRPLAY”: ROUNDABOUT, LONG DISTANCE RUNAROUND, and SOUTHSIDE OF THE SKY.
· The sticker has “NOT FOR SALE” which applied to promo records provided by the record company to the radio stations.
· As you know promotional records were pressed in VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES and only made available to special people in the recording industry and to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities pressed.
· YES ranks up there as one of Rock & Roll’s BEST bands and this LP DEFINITELY ranks up there as one of the band’s BEST LPs!!!
· This white label promo pressing has gotten harder and harder to find these days.
· The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG CONDITION. There is some moderate wear on the cover, both front and rear. There is a small light 3-inch scrape. There is some moderate corner and edge wear. Still as you can see from the images, the cover is still looks good and presentable. It’s not at all trashed as some buyers think when they see VG grading. Again, check the images and see for yourself.
· The VINYL is graded NEAR MINT with just a few very light surface hairlines/scuffs. The LABELS are NICE, CLEAN and SNOWY-WHITE as you can see in the images.
· IT’S A GREAT RARE YES LP THT WILL MAKE A FINE ADDIITON TO ANY VINYL COLLECTION!!!
FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. And please check my other auctions for LPs you may want to add to your collection.
