Description

"Yes L.A." compilation LP on Dangerhouse label, EW-79.  One sided, clear vinyl 12" LP of six wonderful punk songs from Los Angeles groups.  This record with songs from 1978 was only pressed in 2,000 copies.  They were made with several colors of print over the basic green background.  There have been "Yes L.A." records with red, blue, black or brown lettering for the song titles.  Recently there have been 3 with red lettering and 1 with blue lettering sell on eBay.  Mine has the brown lettering, and I have never seen one with brown.

The record is graded at Mint Minus.  I listened to it with my Thorens 125 turntable, Sme tonearm and Ortofon cartridge, and there was no noise from scratches and no background noise.  There was a *single* minor pop, but that could have been from a speck of dirt on the record.

This record did not come with a traditional cover, but I do have the heavy, clear vinyl envelope and heavy white cardboard that it was originally sold with.  These items are in excellent condition with no tears or major wear.

The songs are:

We Don't Need the English - Bags

Los Angeles - X

No God - Germs

Disneyland - Eyes

Too Much Junk - Alley Cats

Down at the Laundrymat - Black Randy

I will combine multiple winnings to save you postage cost, if you desire.

I sold (& bought) records in Goldmine ads in the 1980's and 1990's. Therefore I use GM's grading system. I am not a dealer, but have been a collector for more than 40 years.

M- is near mint; cover has no obvious flaws; record looks nearly new or better.

VG+ is very good plus; cover only has minor flaws like some ring wear; record might have a few light scratches with little or no audible noise.

VG is very good; cover might have more obvious ring wear & short split seams; record has more flaws but the surface noise will not be constant or overpowering to the music. There will be no skips.

Any special flaws, like cut-out holes, writing, tape, etc. will be mentioned. I will use an extra +, like VG++, to signify a condition that is better than the typical VG+ and that would be M- except for a minor visible flaw.
