YES The Yes Album Atlantic (UK) VEL 1005
Up for auction is an OG 1971 UK Atlantic press of the 3rd Yes album, "The Yes Album". The first to feature Steve Howe, and the last to feature Tony Kaye (who would be sacked by Squire during early Fragile sessions). Certainly a fan favourite featuring "All Good People" and "Perpetual Change". Perhaps the best listen of this particular lp.
DEAD WAX INFO: Side 1 has 2400101 A//1 ?420 1 2 1 1 all stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has 2400101 B//1 ?420 R R 1 1 2 5 all stamped into the dead wax. OG UK Atlantic pressing (Rondor variant label) circa 1971.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and much better with FANTASTIC fidelity. Plays with very low level of noise, and maybe the best overall cut of this particular lp.
COVER VISUAL: VG+ at best with surprisingly little seam/spine/ring wear on this rather delicate original matte MacNeill gatefold cover. The bottom seam is the worst, with a little wear (2") at centre. Some minor creasing on rear cover (see pictures) and some minor waviness front bottom right (that is not very noticeable except on profile view). Overall a nice example.
Comes with UK plain paper inner that may or may not be original. Vinyl held in rice-plastic Audiophile inner sleeve. DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST.
