Description

A 1st pressing of this triple live epic on UK Atlantic. Matrix A1/B1/C1/D1/E1/F1. The vinyl comes housed in an original concertina/fold-out cover - this is the second variation of the original cover format. Also included are the original patents inner sleeves and the 12 page booklet. TRIPLE LP.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+/Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a mark across all six sides. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is totally absent - we didn't detect more than a couple of crackles across all sides. Audio quality is also very good. There is some talk that later reissues [i.e. not 1/1/1/1/1/1] are inferior - I can't comment on that, but I can say that this cut, for a live Lp, seems pretty much 'bang on the money'.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and is exhibiting some handling wear - most noticeable on the front. Other than that there's very little to complain about. All surfaces are in very good condition and edge wear is light. The text on the spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Booklet (Ex) A couple of light creases. Otherwise aok.
Inners (Ex) No splits.
