Description
An original 1st issue of Yessongs on the UK Atlantic label from 1973. Matrix 1/1/1/1/1/1. Please note the very 1st copies at release can be found with a tri-fold book design - this version [concertina] comes immediately after this whilst the Lp was still charting. All the vinyl have the early Atlantic design with no WB logo in the perimeter text. The vinyl comes housed in a concertina format cover. Also included is the original booklet and all three inner sleeves with patent no's. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. The only noticeable deviations are a bit of distortion creeping into the audio in 'Roundabout' & 'Seasons'. "Seasons" is the only track where it starts to invade the sound right toward the end of the track. If you can live with this one hiccup the rest of the LP plays back to a very nice clean standard.
Cover (Vg) In overall very decent condition, but slightly let down by visible handling wear on the front. The rear fares much better and the interior is pretty much perfect. Edge wear is relatively light and the text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits or markings.
Booklet (Ex) All intact and not heavily thumbed.
