Original 1989 archival issue of zany Yes meets Gentle Giant pinnacle of American Prog. 

"Sacred Baboon is the 2nd full-length studio album by US progressive rock act Yezda Urfa. That´s if you count the demo album Boris (1975) as the group´s debut album. "Sacred Baboon" was recorded in 1976 and the recording of the album was funded by the band themselves. However they were not able to get a record deal and the album was shelved until 1989 when the Syn-Phonic label released it. The music on the album is technically well played and very eclectic progressive rock. All unsealed LP's are packed outside of the covers, in their protective inner sleeves, to avoid seam damage in transit. 

Record Grading

I visually grade all records using the classic Goldmine Standard, to which I have added EX (as have many others), but I do not use any other variant from the classic scale.  No NM- or EX+ (which are both EX), EX- VG+++ or Near Excellent (which are all VG+), or any such other nebulous grades.  I feel that nearly every collector will be more than pleased with anything listed EX or above in my auctions.

NM 
This is highest grade that I will assign to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

Cover: Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

EX
Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

Cover: Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+
Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.

Cover: Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

VG
Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.

Cover: Covers are worn and used. Seams may be starting to split or may have been unobtrusively repaired with clear tape. (I use special archival-quality, non-yellowing, clear tape for all repairs.) There is moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be larger writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.

Any items offered for sale have come from my personal collection and are guaranteed to be in the condition listed. Many items were purchased used, though while in my posession they are in a climate controlled, pet free/smoke free home. Items have been graded under a 150w halogen light. 

I am happy to provide specific pictures upon request, to the best of my ability. 

Refund Policy

All items are guaranteed to be a represented by grades in the item description posted. Should a buyer feel the product received does not meet the stated item description, a full refund including return postage will be provided. If I make an error, I will make every effort to make it right either by refunding all costs involved, or adjusting the selling price to everyone's satisfaction.

Buyer has 14 days to return item from date received. Buyer must first contact seller to make arrangement for return shipment. Refunds will be made only after return shipment to, and re-inspection by the seller. I am not financially responsible for mishandling of parcels by the postal service.
