Description
YOKO ONO - 'PLASTIC ONO BAND'
This critically acclaimed and now highly regarded album was the companion album to Lennon's release of the same name but was a poor seller at the time of release. It is especially notable for its outstanding Lennon guitar work and together with Ringo Starr on drums and Klaus Voorman on bass, this LP has been cited as a significant contemporary influence on many modern artists.
This UK 1st pressing dates from the album's initial release in December 1970 and is on a black and white Apple Records label: SAPCOR 17

Both are bright & unworn with just two or three faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole and a few faint age spots on label two only.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart form a single faint surface scuff on side 2 are umarked in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc ha been removed from the inner-sleeve together with a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This amazing sounding copy has clearly been barely played and the sound quality throughout is fresh, clean and totally unworn. Even the exposed quieter passages are free from any clicks, ticks, pops or other such distractions. If you have not experienced this album before, you are in for a treat.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
An extremely clean & strong example with a completely unscratched high-gloss laminate where the only significant wear are two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge & a single bend in the upper right corner. There is a touch of wear to the corner's extremities but no heavy bumps or bruising. The rear panel is as glossy as the front but has a few faint age spots in some of the white areas.
Both seams are smoooth and fully intact and the spine is clearly and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
There is some mild age-toning/foxing and some storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
