Description
Yusef Lateef - Eastern Sounds - Fontana 688 202 ZL (1961) (UK). Laminated sleeve.

Missprint: Track B3 "Purple Flower" incorrectly credits "Yasef Lateef"
Vinyl condition: VG-. Clean labels. Side 1 has a few very light scratches/hairlines, a mark, and a small feelable scratch. Side 2 has a few very light scratches/hairlines and a very small feelable scratch.
The record plays reasonably good overall and is still an enjoyable listen. The sound is clean with no distortion and it's a superb natural sounding recording.
Side 1: There is some mlld surface noise at the start of and during play. There are a couple of 'scratchy type' sounds mid way in, and some light ticks during play in places. The feelable scratch at the end of side 1 causes a mid, changing to a louder click for approximately 1 minute at the end/run out of side 1.
Side 2. This side plays much better overall, with some mild background noise at the start and during play in places, along with some light background ticks in spots. Track 3 has some light to medium clicks at the start and during play in places.
Sleeve condition: VG+. Very nice looking sleeve. Laminated sleeve. Firm edges. No spine splits. Title information clearly readable to spine. Light creasing and corner wear to front. Creasing and mild browning to rear paper sleeve, and pen marks underlining track names (see photo).
