ZACHARIAS
No Time / Jesus on TV

undated 7" 45, circa 1979
Zacharias - an experimental hard rock band with Michelle Tenebria on vocals, Mark Daniels on guitars and "devices," Tod Beard on Bass and Taurus pedals, Paul Brusco doing percussion and drums, Bradley Ray on keyboards, and lead vocals by Duane Bubsey. Short lived. Only one record - this one. But WHAT a record! Produced by C. Watts and with Gary Gygax era Dungeons and Dragons style artwork by James Richards, outer sleeve unfolds to show lyrics etc, this is a prog hard rock release with colorful psychedelic twinges. Very interesting effort coming out of the heart of Cleveland. And where are they now? We do not know. But they left us this piece of vinyl to show us where they were, and it was an interesting place to be. Put out by Cleveland label On The Rise Records, based on West 25th not far from the West Side Market, and who did another 7" in 82 or so before disappearing back into the annals of the past.
NM vinyl with just a very few light hairlines, a press fault dimple, nice and shiny, sleeve has creasing and edge wear and a few light spots but overall very nice.
