Description

This is a 4-track cartridge tape (not an 8-Track or CD or cassette or vinyl LP). You will need a 4-track player to play it. It looks similar to an 8-track but it will NOT play in an 8-track player.

FRANK ZAPPA: Lumpy Gravy (Verve / ITCC 4-Track tape, F-14-8741)

  • Condition : SEALED
  • Description : Amazing SEALED 1968 original 4-track tape in original Verve / ITCC slipcase with title tag at end. IMPORTANT: this is the normal commercial 4-track tape issue of the Verve LP, with exactly the same music; it IS NOT the withdrawn "instrumental" version (which does exist, but was issued on Capitol / Muntz 4-track with different artwork). Nevertheless, it's not something that is offered frequently, if at all. The title tag on the slipcase as well as the end label and back title label on the tape itself all credit the tape to "The Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra And Chorus"; Zappa's name is only visible in the front cover artwork (which is the same as the Verve LP, though much smaller of course).
