Description

Absolutely stunning copy of the original 1966 pressing of the first Mothers of Invention album, Freak Out!, on Verve double-LP V6-5005-2. This is the true first version with blue labels and the Hot Spots advertisement inside the gatefold. Both discs are very nearly perfectly mint and play absolutely flawlessly and just beautifully. Only the slightest signs of use at all. The cover has some ringwear and edge and corner wear, but not terrible. The upper two seams are both split about 1.5”. Not too bad. Overall a quite nice cover, and just about immaculate discs. Truly a top copy. Hard to beat.
