Description
** RARE STILL FACTORY SEALED / NEVER OPENED Stereo Record Album released in the U.S.A. in the early 1970's by BIZARRE / REPRISE (MS-2042). This factory sealed item was bought by me from WEA in around 1980. It has been kept in protective storage until now.
It could possibly be a first pressing, original release (Not from a record club) has no barcode, never been played, item # MS 2042.
There is a drill hole in the top left area indicating that it was given out for promotional purposes. By the way this is how the record companies marked records (promos or discounted over runs) that shouldn’t be accepted as a return from their retailers.
The vinyl LPs and other items I sell are exclusively from my personal collection. I was a Record Store Manager in the 70’s, a Sales Rep for MCA in the late 70’s and a Sales Rep for WEA (Warner/Elektra/Atlantic) in the 80’s, 90’s and mid 2000’s. I owned these records from the start and received them right from the record company warehouse. I played very few of my records. I usually listened to cassettes while driving or records other people played in the office. My records were stashed away so most (almost all) were never played. If they were played it was very little and I learned early that whenever I handle a record I only touch the edges of the vinyl.
