Description
Frank Zappa - Old Masters Box #3, last of the FZ reissue series from the 1980s after he recovered and remastered (and sometimes remixed - much to the fans chagrin - all of his classic LPs through 1976's Zoot Allures). This one contains the following titles (LP Condition: VG+, M- or Mint follow): Waka Jawaka (VG+ two tiny needle drop marks), Grand Wazoo (M-), Overnite Sensation (Mint), Apostrophe (VG+ long very light but negligent scratch across the middle of one side), Roxy And Elsewhere-2 LPs (VG+ needle drop scratch at the start of one disc side, otherwise the discs are M-), One Size Fits All (M-), Bongo Fury (Mint), and Zoot Allures (M-). Sleeve Conditions: All album covers are in excellent condition except that several of them light seam splits at the center of the top spines on Grand Wazoo, Overnite Sensation, Roxy and One Size Fits All (ironically all four of the LPs with gatefold covers). Box Condition: The image shown IS NOT THE ACTUAL Slipcase - It is a generic screen grab - The ACTUAL slipcase for sale is not in great shape - The front cover of the slip case has some faint water stains and the spine is damaged (the top half of the spine is split away from the cardboard base). The actual box itself has two split corners on the inside portion, otherwise just 30+ years of age wear. I will try to get some REAL photos up showing the condition, soon.
Price: Because of the condition of the BOX, I am starting this auction at $65 with NO RESERVE. I am including a bonus disc - a sealed/unplayed copy of The BEAT THE BOOTS BOX 2 Sampler LP.
