Description
Up for auction is an extremely rare PROMOTIONAL copy of Doomsday by Zen Fuller. B/W is Take A Memo From A Fool. Released on the ACAMA Promotional Record label (#X 128-A) in the early 1960's.
Niamh Lynch of the Capitol Social Club in London placed this record in the Top Twenty of the all-time greatest super popcorn songs ever recorded, placing it at number 12 in the world, and one of the rarest of its breed. This record has been in my personal collection for about 40 years and is a very rare collector's item.
Vinyl is VG++ with very light evidence of normal play and in very good shape for a record of this age. Labels are VG++ with no holes, stickers, and just the very lightest evidence of scuffing. These labels would be graded Near Mint except for one black pen X made by a disc jockey on the B side of this label. No writing on the Doomsday side.
A superior find for collectors of rare vinyl, especially with this one being on the ultra rare ACAMA Promotional label.
Each record packaged carefully in double bubble wrap and placed between cardboard sleeves to help ensure safety in transport. All 45 RPM records shipped in new acid-free white sleeves and a new clear vinyl polypropylene sleeve for added protection against dirt, dust, pollen, and other particles that may damage your rare vinyl over the years.
