This is the first live album by ZIGURI from Berlin! Günter Schickert, the famous echo guitar player (his first album 'Samtvogel' 1974 is a Krautrock classic) played together with his two collaborateurs Udo Erdenreich on bass
and Dieter Kölsch on drums a storming show at the 'No Brexit' festival.
The 'Lucid Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus' festival happened during the 5th of May till the 7th of May 2017 in Würzburg and was a successful cooperation with the 'Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus' festival, happening annually in
Cardigan, Wales. Also it was a joint venture by the music labels FRUITS DE MER RECORDS and SUNHAIR MUSIC.
Music has no borders and the borders are drawn by human beings but it is still ONE world for all of us! The sold out festival was a wonderful experience covering bands from the UK and Germany!
United with a fantastic and dedicated audience stemming from various parts of Europe the three days of joy and happiness went by in the wink of an eye and there was a great and intense communication between
the musicians and the music loving audience. It was a psychedelic krautrocky progressive happening visually enhanced by the marvellous lightshow of Kosmik Klaus & His Solar Sea Slide Show.
ZIGURI are three men in their best age who always dress up remarkably, always wear very elegant hats on stage. Bass and drums are steadily locked into each other and create a hypnotic pulsating groove
which enables the swirling echo guitar to fly into stratosphere. The show was ultrapsychedelic and sometimes the very co(s)mic tracks which range from 5 to 12 minutes length meandered through space and time.
The tracks are mostly instrumental and there is a dada-istic singing on two of the six tracks which supports the thriving groove!
The audience was overwhelmed and the band played up a storm and now you can hear some of the magic trip at home. And this was the opening band!!!
The show was recorded professionally from the mixing desk adding some ambience mics, the multitracks were mixed by Herman Halb and sensitively mastered by EROC. Vinylcutting by SST/ Brüggemann in Frankfurt
and pressed on 180 gram vinyl by Optimal!

Das 'Lucid Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus' Festival fand am 05.05.2017 in Würzburg statt und war eine Kooperation mit dem 'Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus' Festival, das alljährlich in Cardigan, Wales stattfindet.
Musik kennt keine Grenzen und Grenzen sind bekanntlich von Menschen gezogen, aber es ist und bleibt EINE Welt für uns alle! So war das ausverkaufte Festival ein wunderbarer Erfolg mit Bands aus England und Deutschland.
Vereinigt mit einem tollen Publikum aus mehreren europäischen Ländern sind die 3 Tage wie im Flug vergangen und ein reger Austausch zwischen Musikern und dem Publikum mündete in einem psychedelischen- krautigen-
progressiven Rausch und hier gibt es nun eine akustische Kostprobe:
ZIGURI aus Berlin sind 3 Männer im besten Alter und stets ausgestattet mit eleganten Hüten. Bass und Schlagzeug sind eng verzahnt und erschaffen einen hypnotisch - pulsierenden Groove auf dem die Echogitarre in die
Stratosphäre abheben kann. Ultrapsychedelisch und manchmal auch sehr skurril mäandern ihre Stücke, die von 5 Minuten bis zu 12 Minuten Länge reichen, durch Zeit und Raum.
Überwiegend sind die Tracks instrumental gehalten und wenn es Gesang (bei 2 der insgesamt 6 Tracks) gibt, dann unterstützen die dadaistischen Texte den Groove hervorragend!
Das Publikum war hingerissen und begeistert, die Band steigerte sich in einen Rausch und nun könnt Ihr den musikalischen Trip zuhause erleben.
Das Konzert wurde professionell mehrspurmäßig am Mischpult mitgeschnitten, gemischt und schließlich von EROC feinfühlig gemastert. Vinylschnitt von SST/ Brüggemann in Frankfurt und gepresst bei Optimal!
