We follow the GoldMine vinyl record grading standards. (see grading guidelines below)

The Goldmine Grading System was created in the early years of record collecting. These grades were established from various other resources pertaining to collecting (for example coin, book, comics, and card collecting) Goldmine Magazine first published a grading scale in 1974. It has undergone changes through out the years, yet has for the most part remained the same.

 

Return Policy

     

    Returns on new items - We will give a full refund (minus S&H costs) upon inspection. Item must be STILL SEALED and in the same condition as received.

    Returns on opened items - All returns of vinyls, cd's and other miscellaneous items are considered on an individual basis. Please contact us for further investigation of your return.

      Due to a large inventory  in some rare occasions error may occur e.g: an item may be  relisted by mistake, typos, etc... If this happens we will promptly let you know and give you the option for refund or exchange.

    SS = Still Sealed
    NM = Near Mint - or unplayed condition. Cover is nice and new looking with no ring wear.
    NM- = Only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.
    VG+ = Played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise - still plays well. Cover may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
    VG = Overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
    VG- = Heavy wear on record and cover.
    G or G+ = Poor or Rough condition. WE DO NOT SELL RECORDS IN THIS CONDITION.

    33 - Vinyl record that plays at 33 rotations per minute (rpm). The actual rotational speed is 33-1/3 RPM.

    45 - Vinyl record that play at 45 rotations per minute (rpm).

    10" - Vinyl record that is 10"   diameter (may be either 45 RPM or 33 RPM).

    12" - Vinyl record 12" diameter (may be either 45 RPM or 33 RPM).

    2 lp - An album that includes two long playing (10 or 12 inch) vinyl records.

    3 lp - An album that includes three long playing (10 or 12 inch) vinyl records.

    7" - Vinyl record that is 7"  diameter -- the standard for a 45 rpm single.

    8-track - A recording playback format that enjoyed a brief period of popularity in the 1970s.
