Description
You are bidding on a rare, original LP record album by Bobb-B-Soxx and the Bluejeans on the Phillies record label #PHLP-4002. This is the original LP, light blue label, made in 1963. The jacket is still in its original shrink wrap. The following is a detailed, critical description for the serious record collector. The shrink wrap on the front is awesome as is the front cover with vibrant colors that look brand new. In the lower left hand corner is a price sticker on the shrink wrap. It states, "GEM 39cents"-( Please note-The word "cents" is not on the sticker but this computer keyboard does not have the cent sign. In the place of "cents" should be a cent sign like were on the typewriters I typed on in high school1!). There is a tiny seperation of the shrink wrap in the lower left hand corner. There is a small cut, (about 1/4 inch), in the lower right hand corner and a very small seperation in the shrink wrap and a touch of corner wear. The back cover is also excellent. The shrink wrap at the very top of the back cover is seperated about an inch but when stationery cannot even be noticed. There is some discoloration on the left side of the back cover under the shrink wrap of the white background This goes from the left edge to about the start of the photo of the group that streches most of the album from up to down. I have taken pictures of the above minor distractions. The vinyl is in tremendous condition. The labels are in excellent condtion with only a whisper of spindle use noticed, and that under intense light. The label colors are excellent. There is some inconsistencey of the surface texture of the labels that I think occured during the manufacturing process. I showed this record to Craig, owner of the Hackensack Record King. He said it was the best copy he had ever seen in over 30 years. Because of the value of this record I am requiring $3.00 insurance.
