ZOOT MONEY'S BIG ROLL BAND - BIG TIME OPERATOR E.P.
This is a stone cold ORIGINAL SUPER RARITY.
Columbia EMI 45 rpm Extended Play single Catalogue No. SEG 8519 issued 1966.
Four tracks are Side A
1. Big Time Operator
2. It Should've Been Me
Side B
1. Florence of Arabia
2. Chauffeur
This is almost impossible to find and although this is not a mint copy, by any means, it will be of interest to specialist collectors.
I will describe the condition as accurately as possible.
Front laminated / Flipback sleeve is fully intact with no tears and is somewhat "dished" in shape due to lengthy storage. The laminate on the front has lifted a bit over some of the creased areas but is in overall nice condition. The photo is clear and crisp and has not faded. I have tried to show all of this in the photos.
The rear of the sleeve is not damaged and has only a few little age related markings consistent with its age. All text is fully present and legible.
Visually the record has numerous light surface marks but despite this the vinyl plays through both sides without any sticks or jumps at all.
Side A is the better of the two sides with only the odd light noise in a few places, which is not very intrusive, and the music shines through with great audio.
Side B does have a section lasting approximately for the 1st minute which has been played with a worn stylus I think and is quite crackly. This then improves and the rest of the side plays with less noise.
