1st original 1960 US mono pressing with  Deep Groove on both clean labels

Wearless spindle hole

Matrix / runout (Side A)  : BCP- 12 - 6051 - A - X1 engraved  

Matrix / runout (Side B) :  BCP- 12 - 6051 - B - 1 engraved  

This thick, heavy vinyl retains its nice original sheen and looks carefully played

Visual grade

Side A: EXCELLENT

Excepting rare, tiny, extremely light, very hardly visibile under a strong bulb lamp, scuffs and pin-pointed wax defects, the playing surface looks free of any other noticeable blemishes

Side B: EXCELLENT++

Excepting only one, light, sleeve scuff, on the first track, the playing surface looks free of any other noticeable signs of handling. With NO marks, NO scratches, NO groove wear

Audio grade

Side A

1st track: CLOSE to VERY GOOD+

3 episodes of more or less evident and more or less short, periodic, background tickin'.  In sequence :  5 revolutions the 1st, 20 revolutions the second, 3 revolutions the third. These noted above flaws are partially due to the noted above defects and are also commensurate with the age of the vinyl

2nd /3rd / 4th tracks: MINT-

Play very well with NO noticeable blemishes of any kind! With NO tics, NO clicks, NO skips, NO surface or background noise

Side B

1st track: CLOSE to VERY GOOD+

Excepting a couple of short, occasional episodes of background cracklin', more or less feelable in a quieter passage (bass solo), plays with NO other noticeable blemishes. NO clicks, NO skips, NO surface or background noise

 2nd /3rd / 4th tracks: MINT-

Play very well with NO noticeable blemishes of any kind! With NO tics, NO clicks, NO skips, NO surface or background noise

Cleaned with CLEAR AUDIO VACUUM MATRIX using its PURE GROOVE professional solution

COVER : EXCELLENT + / EXCELLENT++

1st original thick, glossy front, cardboard rear jacket in nice condition

The front side retains its striking, shiny original shape

Graded as such (EX+) because of :

a couple of tiny, light, shelf abrasions cosmetically repaired and not affecting the beauty of the artwork whatsoever

small (1") and light wear to the spine with NO splits

a very well repaired (with glue) split (1,50") to the right side of the top seam

The edges are tight and the corners are sharp

Bottom seam: INTACT with NO wear

With NO ring-wear, NO dog-eared corners, NO writings, NO stamps, NO holes

 Back side (EX++) with just a minor hint of age spots, near the top left corner, not affecting the integrity of the graphics whatsoever
