This is part of a large collection of 1960s US and UK jazz LPs recently purchased from an English jazz fan who was lucky enough to work in New York between 1961 and 1968. The overall condition is uniformally EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT, with some barely played and all of them carefully stored, albeit in a smoker's home, for the last 45+ years. CONDITION:

VINYL EXCELLENT+++ The black vinyl is beautifully clean and bright with just a few very very light signs of play - the sound reproduction is also EXCELLENT+++ throughout. The paper labels are clean with a few light spindle lines, mainly on Side Two.

The record will be sent in a new polylined inner sleeve, as well as its original 'Use Emitex' die-cut polylined inner bag which is clean and unsplit with light creasing. 

SLEEVE EXCELLENT- The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback outer sleeve has a laminated front cover and unlaminated white back cover. The front cover is clean with light edge creasing, moderate ringwear and some laminate creasing in the bottom righthand corner. The white back cover has typical 48 year old discolouration and light signs of handling, but it is clean with a purple ink 'Buy a Pye' rubber stamp mark and '20/-' written in the top lefthand corner. There is some typical corner rubbing on the opening side of the sleeve but no obvious edgewear, whilst the flipbacks and top and bottom edges are complete with only minor wear. The spine is complete with readable printing and only very slight rubbing at the ends.

All records will be removed from their outer sleeves, and then placed in a new polythene sleeve, before being carefully packed WITH TWO CARDBOARD STIFFENERS and posted in strong new Covers 33 mailers (although I do try to re-use good quality heavyweight packaging whenever practical). Please try to recycle the packing cardboard if possible - it might just help to offset the damage done when it was originally manufactured. Alternatively, throw it away and set fire to a couple of old tyres.
