Description
Up for auction at NO reserve is the Zoot Sims Quartets LP on Prestige, catalog # PRLP 7026. This is the original MONO deep groove pressing on the 446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C. label with RVG & "EAR" etched in trail off. The LP is NM-, pristine, a beautiful pressing of this very hard to find LP.........interesting note, side two has an extra label pasted over the original, the "extra" one is about halfway removed, and will probably fall off eventually, but the same label is underneath, so no worries. The cover is VG+, with some light rub/ring wear, light corner wear and some seam wear mainly along bottom seam, back of cover is nice and white, but does have some minor rub wear, and price written in pencil in upper right. Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. Includes original glassine (wax paper) inner sleeve. Taken from two sessions, personnel includes: Zoot Sims; John Lewis; Curly Russell; Don Lamond and Zoot Sims; Harry Biss; Clyde Lombardi and Art Blakey. All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $12.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $14.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific. Multiple item wins will be combined and winner will pay actual shipping costs. Buy a bunch and save.
