Z.Z. Hill 1972 performance contract.
A chance to own a unique piece of soul music history. From the Walden Artists and Promotions / Paragon estate. Phil Walden was a close friend and business partner of Otis Redding, and was responsible for managing the appearances of most contracted R&B acts from Stax, Atlantic and other labels across the southern states in the 1960s and early 1970s. This contract is for a double appearance by Z. Z. Hill at the Ponderosa Club in Port Sulphur, Louisiana. The document outlines the terms, conditions, venue location, rehearsal times and deposit payable by the individual booking the artist. Also with the contract is a separate rider document with details of the deposit required and times of the two shows etc.
In very good condition for age. A well preserved item, especially considering this document is nearly 50 years old.
