THIS IS A VERY, VERY RARE ACETATE OF TWO SONGS BY ZZ TOP ISSUED TO RADIO STATIONS IN ADVANCE OF PRESSING THE ACTUAL 45'S WHICH WERE RELEASED DAYS OR WEEKS LATER.

IN AN EFFORT TO GET THIS TO RADIO STATIONS, THIS WAS THE QUICKEST WAY FOR THEM TO GET THE SONG ON THE AIR AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, USUALLY MAKING A HUGE DEAL ABOUT IT ON AIR AS AN "EXCLUSIVE" OR "FIRST TO PLAY IT IN YOURTOWN" OR "FIRST IN THE COUNTRY"...AND SO ON...

THIS IS NOT YOUR STANDARD FARE 45 OR ALBUM...

THIS IS A TEN INCH DISC THAT IS MADE OF VERY HARD VINYL, NOT IN THE LEAST BIT FLEXIBLE. SOME OF THESE ARE KNOWN TO HAVE METAL IN THEIR CORE, AS THIS ONE DOES. MANY 45'S WERE PRESSED FROM THESE SO-CALLED MASTERS. IN THIS CASE, THIS WAS A MASTER SENT TO A RADIO STATION FOR AIRPLAY.  ONCE THE STATION RECEIVED IT, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO RECORD IT TO AN AIRPLAY CARTRIDGE IN ORDER TO PRESERVE THE DISC AS IT ISN'T DESIGNED FOR REPEAT USES.

EVEN THEN, THE QUALITY OF THIS DISC, AT THE TIME (1975) WAS REALLY GOOD! AND I AM SURE COLLECTORS WILL BE WATCHING THIS ONE CLOSELY!

FOR AS OLD AS THIS DISC IS (32 YEARS OLD), IT IS IN REMARKABLE GOOD  SHAPE I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO NOR WILL PLAY THIS VALUABLE DISC

I WAS ONE OF THE FIRST DJ'S IN THE COUNTRY TO PLAY THIS SONG.

THIS RECORD HAS BEEN KEPT IN A SEALED PLASTIC CONTAINER FOR YEARS EXCEPT FOR VIEWING.
