ZZ Top 1st Press OZ LP Rio Grande Mud NM ’74 London SAHA7801 Texas Blues Rock
Original OZ LP released in 1974 on London Records. Cat: SAHA 7801.
This record came from a collection in absolutely stunning condition, many not played at all and most only played a few times at best.
With their second album, Rio Grande Mud, ZZ Top uses the sound they sketched out on their debut as a blueprint, yet they tweak it in slight but important ways. The first difference is the heavier, more powerful sound, turning the boogie guitars into a locomotive force. There are slight production flares that date this as a 1972 record, but for the most part, this is a straight-ahead, dirty blues-rock difference.

There are a few light spindle marks marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has a few light marks and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
