Description
Up for auction here is a copy of the Zits' nerdy teenpunk classic Sick On You / Beat Your Face 7", recorded in April of 1981 and released shortly thereafter. The Zits were a bunch of high school kids from Oakton VA, and their love of punkrawk, garage, and the Slickee Boys shines through. They played a handful of shows (including the high school talent show) and left behind this slice of lofi noisy nerdiness (recorded by Scott Watson, the first of many good but obscure local records he would engineer). Great stuff. Record is unplayed old stock that I bought from a band member. Sleeve is VG (some rumpling at the top (they're all like that), and some ringwear on the back. The vinyl is VG+ in spite of its unplayed statues and the label shows damage (they all do--even the copies I've picked up in record stores).
