Description
First Label pressing of this superb album from Zoot Sims. Features the Jimmy Deuchar Quintet & the Harold McNair Quartet. Also features Zoot Sims on flute for one track! THIS IS THE STEREO EDITION & IS EXTREMELY SCARCE!!! The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. Signal to noise ratio is superb with only very feint crackle just audible during the 2 bass solos. There is 1 light tick at 2.23 of Band 3, Side 2. The sleeve is not quite as good. There is a 1.5 cm split at the bottom of the jacket opening, Some neat biro writing on the back cover & the bottom right hand corner of the flip back is torn & lifting. There is some discoloured tape halfway up the jacket opening on the reverse side. Still looks good at first glance though as you can see from the photos. This record has been vacuum cleaned on a KAB EV-1 & treated with a Milty Pro Zerostat gun. Records are removed from sleeves before posting, placed in a brand new inner sleeve & then the whole lot is put in a polythene sleeve to protect it in transit. I will only send this record 'recorded delivery' or 'international signed for'.
