Description
Up for bid is a rare LP, "Choice," by Zoot Sims. This was released by Pacific Jazz Records (PJ-20) in 1961. This is still sealed, but there appears to be a mystery going on with this LP. You can plainly see that this is an original press, as the year of release and ID number is printed on the back of the jacket. The jacket is so clean that you know that the seal has never been broken. However, under the shrink on the back of the jacket is a World-Pacific & Pacific Jazz 1964 catalogue. My theory is that this was stock on the shelf for a few years at the factory, and was sealed at the factory later to include this catalogue in 1964. That is the only thing I can think of to explain this. Jacket has a crease in the front top left corner / back top right corner. Don't miss this rare gem!
