Zoviet France ?– Eostre - 2LP - 1984 - REDLP45. Condition is "Used".
Ok boys!
Outer generic plastic sleeve is good with no splits.
Latex inner has some creasing, staining to each end. The paint is very good. Very minimal areas where the paint has rubbed. See photos.
Silk paper insert has creases and tears. I can’t see that any parts are missing....but lots of folds and a large separation on one seam. See photos.
Like almost every copy of this release, this copy suffers from the “latex leaching onto the vinyl” issue, even through the generic white inners.In this instance, only to sides 1 and 4.

Almost all copies of the original 1984 vinyl release suffer from the vinyl being exposed to the latex sleeve which seems to have left a restive residue or even reacted chemically. Since many ZF releases are packed in a way that will leave wear on them, it could be intentionally.”
Side 1- plays smoothly, no skips, very minimal snap or pop....but does suffer from crackle considerably, due to the “latex leach”. Listenable but with a kind of hiss throughput. Visually a greyish sheen has formed. No scratches. Very very minimal hairlines.
Side 2- plays smoothly, no skips, very minimal snap or pop...and no crackle whatsoever. Good quiet vinyl. A great listen. Visually clean and bright. Very minimal hairlines.
Side 3- as side 2. Clean, smooth, very little snap...no pop or crackle. Visually clean, bright and scratch free. I can’t find any hairlines.
Side 4- as side 1. Plays very smooth. Minimal snap... light crunch throughout. Visually scratch free but has a gray sheen.
