See the labels for details. We do not exactly know who the Turk Musiki Heyeti (Turkish Musical Troupe) were comprised of but apparently they made a string of recordings for Odeon in the early 30s which each of them shines bright with exquisite musicianship and very "live" sounding energetic performances. This one features a Greek dance air "kasap" on one side and a karshilama (actually they are both of Greek and Turkish common musical culture) in 9/8. Fantastic 78! Disc is a very clean VG to VG+ (no scratches or scuffs, only storage wear)
