Record is near mint
Cover is VG++ in original shrink wrap. which has separated for a few inches over the bottom of the back cover (see scan 3), and which has receded along the open edge, revealing minor wear and a slight bit of orange ink staining/smearing in the upper left corner (see scan 4).
All the labels I can find posted on the internet for the Scarab issue of this LP have an orange and white split design. The solid orange labels for this item match those printed for Scarab's 45 by the Pharaohs. I don't know when Scarab changed label designs, or how many times they pressed the record.
I recently acquired this item from the estate of James Mack, who was the original director (early 1960s) of the Crane Junior College student band The Jazzmen, which eventually evolved into The Pharaohs, so it seems reasonable to assume that a member of the band gave it to Mack personally.
