ambrose campbell and his emergent music - high life today (columbia - mono - sx 6081) original u.k. pressing of this Nigerian high life classic. Cover is very clean and intact and close to vg+. looks great. vinyl is clean with no scratches, but there are what look to be sleeve marks. There is also a fair amount of surface noise on this pressing. I don't know if this is a direct result of the pressing itself, it could be. The record doesn't look like it was played a lot or abused in any way. The music is loud and clear, but there is some surface noise underneath that is definitely audible. This could be cleared up some with a deep cleaning. It's still a very nice and playable copy. I just want to be accurate. I would rate the vinyl VG. NOT vg+ or nm.
