One of the truly great lps of the world of heavy PSYCH /EARLY PROG rock - with what is regarded as one of the best and most accomplished UK PYSCH rarities from start to finish. the group had previously recorded a psych classic on the budget saga label as "FIVE DAY A WEEK STRAW PEOPLE"-before that they had all been in other groups the ATTACK etc.then in early 69 they were signed by RCA and created this all time classic. As with lots of great records it sank without much of a trace and sold in very small quantities and was quickly deleted from the RCA catalogue. Shortly after this Du Cann left to help form Atomic Rooster and while he achieved much greater commercial success probably never achieved the same virtuosity or kudos as this classic GEM.

Condition of LP and Cover
the LP cover is in VG++ condition. The front laminate is intact and free from any significant wear there is some minor ring wear and some fading of the laminate in that it isn't as bright as it once was. the rear cover has some light marks and some numbering in ink (see photo 5) the spine is in nice condition and all Lettering is intact. The cover is in good shape considering it is from 1969. please see supersized photos.
the LP has been fully play tested on my rega p3 with goldring 2400 cartridge. visually the LP is in very good ++ condition on both sides with some faint marks here and there. THE LP IS PERFECTLY FLAT WITHOUT ANY WARPING. the labels are in very good condition with a few small marks but nothing very noticeable.
Side one plays perfectly from start to finish without any sound defects. Side two is much the same and the only sound defect is near the end of side two where there are four noticeable pops in quick succession caused by a small mark. Otherwise the Stereo sound is bright and clear and strong throughout both sides and free from any other distortion or degredation.
