Faiza Rushdi had been a famous singer in her native Egypt. Upon immigrating to Israel she became a meteor in the world of Arab music, performing in Israel and all over the world. Years later, Faiza is in a home for the aged when her only daughter, Yaffa Tusiah-Cohen, attempts to come to terms with their mutual history. Through her monodrama "Ana Faiza", Yaffa reveals the story of her complex and painful relationship with her mother. Onstage, she dares to confront unasked questions and to address the mysteries and unsolved secrets of her mother's life. She also seeks answers through her encounters with the band members, close friends of her mother, but it is only during a later on-camera conversation with her mother that answers are revealed, answers that touch delicately on the pain that both women have endured over the years
