cleaned on VPI. deep groove blue label orig. nice tight-cornered copy with some back cover wear (see photo). wax is visually m-, plays exc. wild ensemble includes braxton, leroy jenkins, earl freeman, julio finn & chicago beau!
this record comes from the first of two jazz collections comprised almost entirely of '50s & '60s original mono pressings & promotional copies to be auctioned by farmeralfalfa here on ebay over the next six months. the collections will list approximately fifty records at a time, organized by label &/or sub-genre. many atlantic, columbia, prestige, riverside & (eventually) blue note titles. if this sounds like your thing add farmeralfalfa to your favorite seller list. this week's focus is impulse & ESP with some additional associated titles.
