Recording LP by Red Norvo titled "The Forward Look" (RR-8) (1957) (Stereo) (TAS). This album is so rare that most people don't even know that it was done. It is commonly known that there are MFSL UHQR's, but this one has remained something of a secret.
***** This fantastic album was recorded by Keith Johnson on New Years Eve, 1957, in a small club setting. He used a custom made, tube 3 channel stereo tape deck. It was one of the very first made. He used 3 Altec mics, and recorded it as a live club performance. It was mastered by Doug Sax, and pressed on Japanese virgin vinyl. Haf speed mastering was by the late, great Jack Hunt at JVC, and of course pressed by JVC in Japan, on JVC "Super Vinyl" UHQR virgin vinyl. *****

The gatefold jacket is still in beautiful crisp condition with no splits or noticible wear. The record is pristine with no marks or scratches. It is as close to new as you are likely to find.
