Original pressing of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band LP, in magnificent MONO PMC 7027.  (XEX 637-1 & 638-1) LP condition is VERY SHINY, grades VG++... the 2ND cleanest copy of this 40 year old record I've ever seen.  And thats why its for sale now (bought one a fraction better and can now call off my Mint Pepper search) That's actually why I bought it a few months back, because on the 40th anniversary of the albums release in June this year- I pulled out my other 6 copies of Pepper and none were up to snuff, I scoured Ebay and this was the best of the lot.   Aside from a wonderful play-copy, with only occasional faint crackle (in the very quiet parts of she's leaving home) and the odd pop - just a few mind you - and mainly on the run-ins of each side of LP - this copy includes a HAND-SIGNED inner by Beatle artist PETER BLAKE, who designed the famous sleeve.  This signature was procured by a local Beatle collector in the 1990's in London (he writes for Record Collector magazine on Beatle related LP' & 45's) and its authenticity was assured by him, to me.  Peter Blake has signed on the upper left corner of the Pepper cutouts page.  It is signed in silver sharpie ink pen, and given its outstanding condition, no bends, no tears, sharp corners etc...would be suitable for display if you desire.   The original inner sleeve, designed by The Fool is included and is in great shape, totally flat with no spots.  The Cover is in VG++ condition, with laminate intact, minimal wear to corners and the side opening is sharp and straight.  There is a bit of fuzzing/seam splitting to the top rear panel of the LP cover, roughly the middle third of the cover top.  The spine is legible and is not fuzzy or split.  No other cover issues.  LP plays great through my Shure cartridge, and the neat differences can be detected between the mono & stereo mixes.  Only playback issue is slight "kink" to first half-inch of vinyl that causes a distant "pffft" on first few rotations, when played at high volume.  NOT warped. There are NO scratches, only 5-6 faint marks from removing from sleeve - LOOKS GREAT !  Any record nut I play this for says this is the best copy they've ever heard.  LP has KT Tax code stamped, and only a few spindle marks - no whitening of spindle hole.  Mother/Stamper side one 2/AMP, side two 7/RTM. 

 This pressing contains the locked groove at the end of side 2 ...."never to be any other" ... or something like that....!
