original 1971 mercury pressing. NM-/NM-. this is a very rare record which very few know about. it has the same famous break as in the GIANT song "queen of downs" if features about a 25 second snippet with the drum break. this version here is infact BETTER than the GIANT recording because it does not have the annoying hum behind the beat that the GIANT version does making it much better for producers to sample. the rest of the album also has some heavy psych funk and sci-fi moog effects. you will also recognize jean shepherd as the voice of the narrator on the classic holiday film A CHRISTMAS STORY.
